Title: Unique and meaningful jobs to help turn our joblessness and economy
around.
Time Slot: open to suggestions
Description: If asked what or whom is responsible for our current economic and joblessness mess, few, if any, would recognize that WE THE PEOPLE were, ultimately, the ones responsible for not having become better informed nor engaged in our civic/political process to help prevent or reduce our current economic condition.
If so, then, WE THE PEOPLE, also have the ability and power to turn things around.
To that end, The EFFECT Academy, being initiated in Dade & Broward Counties as a pilot program before expanding nationwide, will empower and encourage civic awareness and activism by providing “Work & Study” compensations to 1000s of our students and attractive salaries to 1000s of our graduates for part time employment with the academy as part of our Community Organaizing efforts to bring new jobs to our area and to effect issues and policies.
This will help provide financial relief for those needing to bring extra income to their households and, for the unemployed, a means to help hold them over until they find regular jobs.
